Whilst women’s representation in sciences is on the rise, this increase is not of the same scope across all academic fields, such as mathematics or computer science. In addition, the proportion of women decreases at higher levels of the academic hierarchy. 

The persistence of these disparities and inequalities can be explained by the strength of stereotypes and ideological positions maintaining men and women in different and hierarchical social roles. Ce principe, et les équations de Lagrange qui en découlent, forment les bases essentielles de la mécanique lagrangienne. Pour rendre ces concepts accessibles, le texte s’enrichit d’applications concrètes, d’exemples variés et de conseils méthodologiques, offrant ainsi une approche à la fois rigoureuse et pédagogique.
La seconde partie rassemble une sélection de problèmes résolus, dont une grande partie est originale. Structurés en trois recueils de cinq problèmes chacun, ces exercices permettent une progression adaptée : des sujets simples pour débuter, des cas plus ardus pour approfondir, et enfin des problèmes type examen pour consolider la maîtrise des équations de Lagrange. Un outil idéal pour apprendre et s’exercer en mécanique analytique.

Ce numéro traite de résultats de projets lauréats en 2019 de l'appel à projet CASDAR (Compte d'Affectation Spéciale Développement Agricole et Rural), « Innovation et Partenariat » et « Recherche Technologique ». Ces projets sont financés par le ministère de l'Agriculture et de la Souveraineté Alimentaire.
